This is a sort of placeholder text, but it’s more than that.
This post is more welcome mat than anything.
Feminist Travel is, as the name might suggest, a site devoted to sharing excellent feminist travel writing. Plenty of city guide books and sites exist already, and they’re just fine. This is something else. We want essays about personal transformation, a shift in perception, and wild adventures. We want moving and personal narratives, the funny, the gut-wrenching, the breathtaking, the tragic.
The community we’re aiming to build is an inclusive and supportive one. Please follow us on Twitter, and send feedback and submissions to feminist travel at yahoo dot com.
